Frequently Asked Questions
What conditions does Lyv Health Recovery treat?
Lyv Recovery focuses on treating opioid use disorder (OUD). We provide medication‑assisted treatment using buprenorphine (Suboxone) along with ongoing clinical support through virtual visits.
What is buprenorphine (Suboxone) therapy?
Buprenorphine (often prescribed as Suboxone) is a medication used to treat opioid use disorder. It helps reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms so you can stabilize, function day‑to‑day, and focus on recovery.
How does buprenorphine help with opioid addiction?
Buprenorphine is a partial opioid agonist. It attaches to the same receptors in the brain as other opioids but with a milder effect, which helps prevent withdrawal and cravings while lowering the risk of misuse compared to full opioids.
Who is a good candidate for Lyv Recovery’s services?
Our service is designed for adults with opioid use disorder who want medication‑assisted treatment, are located in a state we serve, and can safely participate in telehealth visits. Patients who are already on suboxone therapy and want to switch to a telehealth model are also accepted.
How often are follow‑up visits and what do they cost?
Most patients are seen monthly. Your initial visit establishes care, and continued monthly care is $179. We’ll review your response to treatment, adjust your dose if needed, and provide ongoing support.
Do you take insurance?
Lyv Recovery is currently self‑pay only. Payment is due at the time of service. You may be able to use your visit receipt to seek out‑of‑network reimbursement from your insurance, depending on your plan.
